Supetar has everything you could want from a family holiday resort. The old town is clustered around the picturesque harbour which is served by up to 13 ferries a day during the season so traveling to and from the mainland is quick and easy. There are 5 beaches to choose from along with cafes, bars, shops and resturants to satify every taste.
As well as being the main ferry terminal for the island the town also houses the governemnt offices, hospital, main post office and police station. It is the administative capital of the island.

For those who prefer sightseeing the old town contains a number of historic churches and monuments including the famous Petrinovic Mausoleum. There is also the small town museum which stands next to the town's main church of St Peter from whom the town takes it's name. |

During the day for the active there are tennis courts and a wide range of beach and water sports. By contracts at night the harour and main promonade are taken over by street artists and vendors of all kinds providing a relaxing end to the day.
