On the southern coast of the island is the renouned resort of Bol with the most famous beach in the Adriatic the glorious "Zlatni Rat" or Golden Horne. Over looking Bol and giving a commanding view of the surrounding islands is the highest mountain in Dalmatia - Vidova Gora.
